Welcome to Madisonville High School! I am Amanda Walters, and I'm excited to be the 9th & 10th grade School Counselor. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, and I earned a Master of Education in Special Education with Diagnostician from Sam Houston State as well. I played softball for Sam Houston State while earning my bachelor's degree. A few years after finishing my master's degree, I earned my school counseling certification.

This is my 14th year in education, and my 7th year as a Secondary School Counselor. I am starting my 12th year with Madisonville CISD, and I am proud to be a mustang!
