Senior Class of 2020 News Update

Dear MHS Senior Class of 2020,

I hope that each of you is safe and doing well during this difficult time. The faculty and staff of Madisonville High School want you to know how much we love and miss you, and we regret that we have not been able to be with you these last few months.

I am writing to let you know that as a campus and district we are still uncertain of many of the events that will occur from now until the end of school. As we receive more information and make decisions as a school district we will forward the information to you through our district phone messenger service and the district and campus websites.

The information that I can provide to you at this time for Seniors is that we are looking at the best way to refund Senior dues so that we can minimize risk to both faculty and students/parents. Once we know a date or dates for senior refunds we will make that known to you.

The status and type of MHS Graduation Ceremony should be made known within the next few days, and we will get that information out as soon as possible so that you can begin making plans.

I would like to remind each of you that the "student work packets" must be completed and turned in in order to receive credit for this 4th 9-weeks and be on track to graduate. Students who are currently making up credits online must have these completed in order to graduate on time. Seniors who are in Coach Campbell's College Math class and/or Coach Taylor's or Ms. Fountain's College English class must complete their Blinn Final Exam as well, in order to meet graduation requirements. If you have questions concerning the Blinn Final Exam requirements please see Coach Campbell, Coach Taylor, or Ms. Fountain's webpage for information concerning the tests. If you are unable to view their websites please contact your school counselor.

The student work packets can be picked up and dropped off in front of the CATE wing between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Please contact your teachers or counselors with any questions or concerns.

We will keep the campus website updated with any new information that we receive related to Seniors and Senior activities.

Once again, we love you and miss you and hope to see each of you soon!

Sincerely,

H. Brown
Principal
