Madisonville FFA
Madisonville FFA is proud to have two students who are Ford Leadership Scholars. Only 10 students across the state are selected for this program each year.
Joeli Hardy has raised the needed funds and has worked to have a barn built for her Madison County Hay Relief Project. Donated hay will be stored in the newly constructed barn and distributed to those in need.
Thomas Dean is accepting donations to purchase dog igloos and cat houses to improve conditions for stray animals in Madison County. The goal is to raise $15,000 - enough for 100 roofs. The houses will become the property of Rufus Refuge to assist with pet fostering, adoption, and welfare. To find out more or to donate to this worthy cause please see the Roofs for Rufus website.
FFA was founded by a group of young farmers back in 1928. Their mission was to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. They taught us that agriculture is more than planting and harvesting-- it's a science, it's a business and it's an art.
FFA continues to help the next generation rise up to meet those challenges by helping its members to develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of career pathways.
Agriculture has changed a great deal over the last 80 years. But, FFA is still training the Future Biologists, Future Chemists, Future Veterinarians, Future Engineers, Future Entrepreneurs, and Future Leaders of America.
FFA is the largest youth leadership organization in the world. Over half a million young people nationwide are taking advantage of all FFA has to offer. Come find out why FFA is such an amazing organization.

The Madisonville FFA chapter was founded in 1932 and is one of the strongest in the state. Our chapter has an active livestock show team, a large shop where multiple ag mechanics classes and projects prepare items for shows, a full-size greenhouse, a strong floral design program, students who receive industry certifications, and successful teams in leadership, judging, and speaking competitions.
Please contact us by email if we can answer any questions regarding our FFA program.
