Mr. Brown grew up in Ohio where he earned his degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University and specializes in teaching band and percussion. While in Bowling Green, he performed in several different University ensembles and chamber groups including the BGSU Basketball and Hockey Athletic Bands, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, University Band, Percussion Ensemble, Steel Drum Ensemble, Men's Chorus, New Music Ensemble, and as a guest artist and studio musician for many different groups. Mr. Brown currently plays the drums for Madisonville Christian Fellowship.
Mr. Brown is also an Educator Artist with Innovative Percussion.

Mr. Brown has been part of the Madisonville Mustang family since the fall of 2009 teaching the High School Marching Band, Junior Varsity Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Indoor Drumline. In addition to his duties at the High School, Mr. Brown also teaches at Madisonville Junior High teaching the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade percussion classes.
