New No Cell Phone Policy Beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, a new Texas law will mandate to restrict student use of cell phones during the instructional day. This requirement applies to all public schools across the state, including Madisonville CISD. Students will put their phone on airplane mode and put it in their backpack from 7:50 - 3:42 during the school day.
