Madisonville HS offers dual credit classes for 11th & 12th grade students through Blinn College. Dual Credit allows students to earn high school and college credit for the same class. For our 11th graders, we offer dual credit US History, and for our 12th graders, we offer dual credit English and Government & Economics.

 

1) For students to be eligible for dual credit classes, they must meet the honors criteria. Please refer to the Honors/Dual Credit Application form for the criteria. This form should also be on file with your counselor. 

2) Meet testing requirements for eligibility (PSAT, SAT, ACT, or TSIA) - refer to powerpoint presentation

3) Apply through Apply Texas (www.applytexas.org)

4) Complete the Dual Credit Approval Form
