Request for College Visit
Guidelines for an Excused College Visit: Each senior is allowed two college visit days, and juniors are allowed one, that will not count toward exemption days. Students must be passing all classes and not be in violation of MCISD district attendance policies.
Before the visit: This form must be completed, signed, and submitted to the counselor at least 48 hours in advance.
After the visit: Students must submit documentation from the college or university to the attendance office within three days of returning to school. The documentation must include the student’s name, the date of the visit, and the signature of a college official. Examples of acceptable proof include a letter from the visitor center or admissions office, a brochure signed and dated by a college official, or a business card signed and dated by a college official.
